Terms of Use / Doctor’s Office Policies

Welcome to MISSCHIROPRACTIC MEDICAL SPA AND WELLNESS PLLC dba MC Wellness & Spa! Our mission is to provide exceptional chiropractic care while partnering with you to support your overall health, mobility, and well-being. The following policies are not intended as restrictions, but as essential guidelines that allow us to maintain high standards of care, ensure scheduling availability, and operate efficiently and fairly.

Because appointments require dedicated provider time and treatment resources, certain financial and cancellation policies are necessary. Please review the information below carefully prior to scheduling your appointment.

Services are provided by a Florida-licensed Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) in accordance with Florida law.

Miss Chiropractic provides chiropractic services within the scope of practice defined by Florida Statutes Chapter 460. Services offered are non-invasive and do not include medical diagnosis, prescription of medications, or surgical procedures.

Pursuant to Florida law, the patient or any individual responsible for payment has the right to refuse to pay, cancel payment, or receive reimbursement for any service, examination, or treatment that is performed as a result of and within 72 hours of responding to an advertisement for a free, discounted, or reduced-fee service, examination, or treatment.

Asterisks (*) denote new patient promotional offers. Promotional discounts are valid for new or first-time patients only, may not be combined with other offers, and are subject to additional terms and availability.

Financial Policies

To ensure outstanding service and fair pricing, Miss Chiropractic adheres to the following financial policies.

Appointment Scheduling & Credit Card Requirement

A valid major credit card is required to schedule and hold all appointments, including consultations and treatments. Scheduling an appointment constitutes acceptance of these financial policies.

By providing a credit card, you authorize Miss Chiropractic to charge applicable cancellation or no-show fees in accordance with these policies. Cancellation fees are not billable to insurance.

Arrival Time

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in and any necessary paperwork. As a healthcare practice, we must honor scheduled appointment times to provide prompt and professional care to all patients.

Appointment Confirmation

Appointments are confirmed at the time of booking. As a courtesy, appointment reminders may be sent via text and/or email. It is the patient’s responsibility to cancel or reschedule if unable to attend.

Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $75 cancellation fee
  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows will incur a $100 fee
  • These fees do not cover the full cost of reserved provider time and treatment space but are necessary to maintain availability for all patients.

Treatment Preparation & Compliance

If you arrive for your appointment without following required pre-visit instructions or intake requirements, the appointment may be deemed a no-show and the applicable fee will apply.

Late Arrivals

We will make every effort to accommodate late arrivals. If accommodation is not possible, the appointment will be considered a no-show and the applicable fee will apply.

Rescheduling

We respectfully request 48 hours’ notice to reschedule appointments. A 24-hour grace period is extended before cancellation fees apply.

Payment & Accepted Forms

Payment is due in full at the time services are rendered. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Personal checks are not accepted.

Outstanding Balances

All outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to receiving additional services.

Refunds & Service Policies

  • All sales for services, products, and packages are final
  • Prepaid services expire 12 months from the date of purchase
  • Service packages are considered expired if not fully redeemed within 12 months
  • Services and packages are non-transferable and non-refundable

Gift Credits

Gift credits issued in connection with promotions or packages:

  • Have no cash value
  • Are non-transferable
  • May only be used toward specified services
  • Expire 6 months from the date issued

Emergencies

Documented emergency situations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

  • Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Thursday: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: By Appointment Only
  • Sunday: Closed

If we are closed, please leave a voicemail. Messages are date- and time-stamped and will be returned as soon as possible in accordance with our cancellation policy.

Text Messaging Terms & Conditions

SMS/Text Messaging Program

Miss Chiropractic may send text messages (SMS) to clients who have provided their mobile phone number and opted in to receive communications. These messages may include:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Follow-up care instructions
  • Promotional offers, service updates, and special announcements

Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary depending on your appointments and enrollment in promotional programs.

Standard message and data rates may apply.

Opting Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS communications from Miss Chiropractic.

Privacy

All SMS communications are governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. Miss Chiropractic does not share your mobile number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Miss Chiropractic uses third-party carriers and service providers to deliver SMS messages. These carriers are not responsible for any errors, delays, or failures in message delivery, including but not limited to missed, delayed, or garbled messages. By participating in our SMS program, you acknowledge that Miss Chiropractic is solely responsible for the content, timing, and management of messages sent, and carriers have no liability for any communications sent or received through this service.

  • Prices, services, and policies are subject to change without notice
  • Scheduling an appointment constitutes acceptance of these policies
  • All sales are final

Walk-Ins

Walk-ins are welcome based on availability. We will do our best to accommodate you.

Children

For safety reasons and out of courtesy to other patients, children are not permitted in treatment areas. Minors receiving chiropractic care must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

Pets

Pets are not permitted, with the exception of documented service animals.

Referrals

Referrals are greatly appreciated. Referral credits, when offered, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are subject to promotional terms and availability.

Age Requirement

Patients must be 18 years or older, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
